JBNYC,

Bummer. If I run across anything that resolves this, I will surely incorporate it.

Any ideas why it keeps on popping up every few minutes and saying invalid ZIP code, even though I have entered UKXX0092 for Manchester, UK.

I really like how this one looks BUT, hehe, is there anyway to add the ability to change the small text's color? I like to use the blue wallpaper from toonxp so the dark blue txt just disapears. Be great if an easy way to say change it to black so that can see the txt? Feel free to email me with info on how to change for myself if possible jmcguay@tde.com

Hey Unlike a lot of weather objects , this one does not keep coming up with errors, and asking me to enter my zip every 20 seconds (KNOCK ON WOOD) lol great job ty.

@PUP/JBNYC: You need to do two things:

1. Find the line in the code that goes:

http.open...

And add:

,"username","password"

to the end of it (change username and password to be the actual username and password you use for your proxy).

2. You will then need to use a command-line tool called proxycfg. Open a command shell (start/run/cmd) and type 'proxycfg -p ' (without the quotes and replacing with the hostname of your proxy server!) and press return.

email me at wincustomize@jools.net if you need more help.

Arghhhh! that should be 'proxycfg -p hostname' and replacing hostname with the hostname of your proxy server.

FANTASTIC - One that actually works outside of the US!
Looks great, simple to use, pleasant to look at and no error messages, (which is nice).
Well done and keep up the good work.

Great job on the weather item. One small request...can you add humidity and 'chance of precip' to the scroll text??

And if you have lots of time, should be % of snow if T 0 but = 4.5
(According to Environment Canada data....)

Hmm message chopped off...
0 and = 4.5 is rain

above 0 & less than 4.5 precip
4.5 and above rain.
