I really like the idea, but I have some problems: the position of the frame and the ed picture aren't remembered.
In addition, it would be nice if starting more than one instance would be possible.

Widgets remembering their position will be a feature of DX 2.2.
As for multiple instances, why don't just just load my original object and build your own widget ensuring you check the "Allow multiple instances to run" option.

I just discovered the multiple instances option hadn't tried to create a widget myself before.
But what about saving the loaded picture? Will this come in v2.2 as well?
