this is great, can a dx calendar have animation, like shocks going through it or other special effects? i was thinking from looking at the aquarium from stardock, making a calendar with fish moving in the background, and switches to show the month/date etc, maybe im bein to silly with this, but great work though martin

TasT - v0.91 uploading as we speak - resolution independant - though at 800x600 you will need to start hiding sections )

UpsideDownGC - Will post on the forums. Google is in the ... er ... Search section under ... er ... Google

PhrozenMenace - Yeah - no reason why not. I'll look into it.

What version of DesktopX are you all using? This is done as a custom file which has been available in a lot of the recent versions?

OK, I updated to remove the custom file for increased backwards compatibility

Martin: I had to revert back to 2.1 Final because of script errors and memory problems with Icon X

Martin, now the thing won't load becuse it's looking for your user pic. I even tried renaming one of mine to Martin.bmp still with no luck.

The object should obtain your user pic. Can you provide an example to your user pic file. For example mine is "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Martin.bmp".

The object should look for a file in the directory with your username e.g. "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Murex.bmp"

I have all ready tried that it still says the same thing that martins bmp can't be loaded. I have only been using a computer for 5 years so i am not telling you your business, But it seems like it's not looking for murex bmp or any other. only martins bmp. as far as i can tell. I can find and delete bar_calcircle. png. is there any thing i can do to stop it from looking for user bmp.? I would really like to try this.. Thanks

Martin I was able to load killerhorn. The only way i could get it to work was complety uninstall every thing that had any thing to do with object desktopx and start over with every thing new. Every thing seems to work except for configuration, click on it nothing happens. Any ideas. thanks

_Martin_ you have labored and produced and beautiful and functional app. You asked for anything missing so: 1) system tray corrupted as doesn't show anything, 2) more than 3 tasks won't display, 3) interestingly enough, I tried to navigate to the User Account Pictures as you suggested and that path isn't available from Drives as it gives an incomplete list of folders, 4) would love to call the 5 day forcast from weather, and 5) would like to easily change the default browser. Small items all as this is one tremendous dock

_Martin_ I mean this sincerely. This looks like a truly great object if I could get it to load. Every time I double click the download or try to import it using DX I get the following:
"Package loading failed. Image file: "" not found." I'm using DX 2.10a.023. I'd appreciate an y help you can provide.
