thx Rednose and fivesballs
If anyone has downloaded this in the last 10 minutes and gets a script error, redownload as I have included the pesky thingy that snuck out from the last attempt at exporting the object

Beautiful Tiggz but I'm sad to say my computer does not like DX version 2.1(crashes on load up ) Any chance you could make the same thing on Winamp?

DX 2.2 wil be out soon carolelee. Are you sure it's not just some object or something that is casing the crash? Try running the Default.dxtheme in the themes directory. If that fails clear the content of your USERNAMETheme (e.g. caroletheme) directory and then reloading. Mail me if this doesn't work.

Tiggz, this object once3 again is an OUTSTANDING achievement!!
I've been trying to change some media player stations to real player stations for a couple of times now, but these sort of won't work. I might deduce from that, the radio only works with windows media player doesn't it?
Is there a possibility to include real player as well? If not, it doesn't matter as this object is an outstanding feat nontheless!

hehe dont be scared glowdark, in the words of the HHGTTG I am "mostly harmless"
hope you get your dx sorted out Carole, if not, I am planning a widget version of this which you might have better luck with as you don't need to have dx loaded to run widgets
4letterword - you guessed right, this object uses a wmp activex control, so I don't think it will work with real player feeds. But I'm not really sure as I know next to nothing about real player

Very cool, I've adjusted some of the buttons no problem, the preprogrammed BBC ones work once but not the next time! Strange and too bad. Anyway great work

This is really cool Tiggz! The only hard part is finding the radio stations...

The BBC stations seem to be troublesome for some but they are fine for me - not sure if it's to do with network settings or isp or location or...? Anyway, that's the beauty of being able to reprogram it
Hus, I started off by using wmp to find radio stations, which normally opens up a web browser with the station's homepage, if you're lucky you can find the url somewhere. Otherwise there are centralised listings of net radio stations, I will try to dig up a link

Hehe, no worries Tiggz, hard also means fun. After a few hours of use, you really come to understand how useful and excellently coded this thing really is...

jord043, if you've got desktopx installed you shouldn't have any trouble with the downloaded file as it is a desjktopx package you can import into dx by simply doubleclicking it. But you have to have DesktopX installed to get this object running...
