One other nice thing: If you hold down the CTRL key when clicking on the icon lable BACKGROUND you can drag it around so you can have your label off to the right or left side or even on top.

This is cool froggy but, I really think that adding this feature to IconX would be better. IconX has spoiled me to having my icons grow on mouseover and I now Icons just arn't right if they don't grow....

I'll second TasT, it would be nice to make this style label a straightforward IconX option. Nice idea by the way

Maybe I'm just being stupid, but how do I link an icon to my computer?

Do I have to use the explorer.exe /t ::{regkey} type link?

Septimus, you can change the Type of Object to a shortcut, then it will give you options for a file shortcut or folder shortcut. Naturally, pick the My Computer folder shortcut...

Great Icon! I am new to DesktopX. I have more than 2 partitions and I know how to link the icon to my other drives other than the C:. What I want to know is that how to change the label to show the Percentage Usage of the other drives. Currently I can only See the % for C: . BTw, what is IconX and how come i cannot get to the forum? Thanks!
