but at less have you erased the cache of desktopX
if yes i think the mater is here "windowspath = fso.GetSpecialFolder(2)" in the script

have you erase one or two or all originals wallpapers put in wallchanger or put them on an other folder?

on my desktop it was just a frozen item clicking on any part of it did nothing and it wouldn't close had to shut down program and delete to get it off the DT - i'm running Vista Ultimate 64 bit - so somewhere in there lies the problem - that other stuff you talk about up above i don't understand ? anyway lol ...

Ok you have put by drag and drop a wallpaper in it like on screenshot.
You click on the thumbs created in object to apply wallpaper.
Nothing appear? have you tried to press F5 on desktop or open display propriety and in desktop tab press OK? (actualization of desktop perhaps)
If yes to all i think it's vista the mater if i have more investigate vista RC1 perhaps but it's not the case sorry!

ok if don't work on object version try with the gadget version he don't need DX to run.

Hello, Great Idea. I can drag and drop the wallpapers in and I hear the clicks,but I can't get the wallpapers to change. I'm using windowblinds skin and DesktopX objects. Windoblinds have something to do with it?�

maybe i don't know i get this error too but Press F5 or lock/unlock the taskbar in general fix the mater. i get this problem with all the Wallchanger i tried.
Eventually now in WB 5.5 you have a wallchanger too and it run well.
If you found a widget or an object who run good let me know i'm really interesting by this

First of all,I want to thank you and all the skinners. This stuff baffles me as how to make but I like it. I tried all your suggestions in your comments to others,�but so far no luck. I tried the widget version and it froze on the screen. The object version is now loaded with my wallpapers,but just can't get it to change. I will keep trying.��
