Are people downloading this OK?

Keep getting errors here, and I can't tell if it's our network.

Its not you Sir Martin, and I dont think its the download, but the file itself. Get message "Doesnt appear to be a dxpack object"

What do you mean by your note that this is a DXPackPro object? apparently this means no one can load it?

My understanding was that registered users of the "enhanced" version should be able to use it.

Frogboy, can you confirm if this is a DX PackPro issue, or a bad zip?

Cheers,

Martin

It's a corrupted ZIP. I opened it with WinZip and I get a bad file offset when I try to extract the files......

Checking into it now.

Ah okay here's the story:

You need to rename the file to:
water.dxpackpro for it to work. The website didn't support taking files with the extension .dxpackpro. I will resubmit this as a .zip to alleviate any confusion.

Thanks for clearing that up )

Looks really cool and stretches to fill the desktop well

Even if I try tiling it, it still seems to stretch out so I hardly have any bumps. What are good settings to use when getting it to use full screen width?

I just clicked on stretch, left A and B at 0, then set to 100% in the summary tab.

The bumps are subtle, but definitely visible at 1024x768. I don't want a tidal wave on my desktop !! )

Was this ever resolved? After the intial message "Not a DX fil" I renamed it to water.dxpackpro and it does not work. Now the message is "You need Desktop X to run this file." Followed by a prompt DX crash. In winzip I get error #WZ54, bad offset for files 1 and 2.

Would love to see this running, looks cool. Sorry Frogboy...

dbqp: I believe it needs the registered version of DesktopX, and the latest. Try v1.0 registered (or on ODNT)

The zip file is N/G... I've downloaded it twice and tried opening it with WinZip but no go.

Resubmited, it should work on any registered version of DesktopX.

Hmmm...doesn't seem to work with this version of Desktop. If I pin it to "desktop" rather than "always on top" it causes Desktop to crash. Might want to go back and rework it...
