the tabs are graphics that need to be edited seperately. I'll be releasing the PSD files shortly and a turorial for replacing or renaming the category tabs.

Did I miss this somehow?

Martin> Nope. "Shortly" is a very nebulous word meaning "When I get around to it."

Hello Chad,
I've been looking for a skin to customize my laptop with and yours is just... beyond words! I love how cuztomizable it is. I love everything about it. this is the first time I've installed and used DesktotX, so I still have alot to learn.
I do have two questions, if you could email me the answers I would greatly appreciat it! (ceeray@gmail.com)
1.) is there away to change what the 4 circular buttons on the bottom lead to? and can you add a button to the bottom bar that will minimize all programs so you can view the desktop?
2.) I can't seem to get an icon to stick to a tray. In your instructions you say to right click and "set Parent", however all the options i get when I right click on my desired icon, (after placing it on the tray), is "set Target" or "remove".
How do I get the rest of the menu as shown in your tutorial to appear? I gave the icon a destination and still i can't set a parent.

If anyon

Great work, but unusable for me, since I simply MUST have full screen for apps. I can't stand having a toolbar constantly there at the bottom. Isn't there any way to make it a mouseover pop-up like the side panels? Even if you hide it with f10, you still can't full screen your apps.

rrtrtrtrt> Change the reserved workarea to all Zeros and hide the taskbar with F10. That'll get you the extra 43 pixels that you just can't live without.

Hi Chad

I am really new at this. I really like you're skin and really want to try it out, but without being able to load it, I can't. lol I downloaded the zip, followed the install instructions. The thing is, is that the .dxtheme file is not in the zip. What do I need to do, to get it to load?

Adding my kudos to the justifiably long list of priase for this beautiful and, perhaps even more importantly, incredibly functional skin. Two quick questions:

1) I seem to have some problem with icon X and this theme. Even after turning OFF the "hide desktop icons" checkbox, the icons are invisible. If I find them on the desktop, by hiding your wallpaper, then turn the wallpaper back on and click on them I can get them to reappear but I can't imagine this is normal functionality and was wondering if you had any thoughts.

2) Also when I first loaded the theme I had a great customized context menu when clicking the desktop, now it has gone away - I feel like it is related either to going into Desktop X builder mode the first time or unchecking "hide desktop icons." Any thoughts?

Looks nice but crashes when using dual monitors.
If you mouse over the tabs along the left wall, boom..
A version that defaults to 1280x1024 would be nice, everytime this theme crashes, it requires that I do the setup procedure listed
or it will not load again.

I loaded all my other themes and not a single problem, only when using this theme and then only when mousing over the tabs, and when using dual monitors. strange.

Master, Odd. I use the dual monitor version of this theme and it works great. Other issues, I guess?

I'm still using this... have been since the second day it came out... awesome skin and VERY stable. Chad, I sent you a mail about changing the labels on the menu sliders to the left... is there a way to do it? I do a lot of video editing and need to be more specific in the categories.

Cheers mate!

And when's your next one coming out?

I love your theme.. It is awesome.. I'm used to an autohiding taskbar, and am having difficulties getting rid of the taskbar while (for example) I'm surfing in firefox. Pressing F10 worked once.. and then it quit working. LoL Don't ask me why.. It makes no sense.. I'm going to try rebooting and then i'll try the f10 thing again. Is there anyway to autohide this taskbar? Or is F10 the only way this can happen?

Thanks again for an excellent theme.. I'm VERY hard to please, and you did a great job with all the features and making it easy to customize.
