Great skin! I really like it.

But is there a way to display your icons while using this theme?

Come on smarter people tell my why this script error in this skin (my own fault, but can't understand why).
Somehow one day i had 2 thing missing: OFFICE TRAY and COLOR CONTROLS, so i downloaded the skin and made two objhects and loaded them to my old DR theme. The tray ofcourse works but the color controls two first sliders send this error:
Object required: 'desktopx.scriptobject(...)'
Line: 29
Code:
(not available)

but on line 29 there is 'desktopx.scriptobject(ID-Float Object One)'
so i cant understand there shouldnt be no error....

And bartoron. u press download, then put open with DesktopX.exe and I think that this is not a packed file.

Hi...

I got some problem with the right click function. For example, when i do a right click on GANT icon, there are only two choice appear.. 'set target and remove'. Can i know what is the problem.

Hi,

I got a problem with the systray, i hope you can help me. it seems that the systray and the taskbar tasks overlaps
in the bottom tray. is it possible to hide other icons in the systray for it not to overlap with the task bar tasks?
or is there a configuration i have to make in its properties.

By the way, this is the best theme i've seen. great work chad.

Problems: I currently have a Dell XPS running at 3.4 GHZ and 1 MEG ram, plenty to play any games, run any graphics, but yall already know that. However, when I installed this Desktop X theme, Norton Antivirus detected multiple malicious scripts as well as potential malicious scripts. I currently have Norton 2005-2006 antivirus, so it is up to date. Can someone please explain to me if that is normal or if that is a problem that needs to be addressed. Thanks. I look forward to using it, unless it is going to endanger my computer.

Hi Chad. Excellent work. Really excellent. I encountered 2 issues with this theme

1) I live in "Johannesburg, South Africa" (zip code SFXX0023). When in extended weather mode, the city name is chopped off - not major since I know where I live

2) Sometimes (there doesn't seem to be a pattern or reason) maximised applications will cover the taskbar. Sure, I can press F10 to get the taskbar up, but that's a needless keypress IMO.

A request : is there any chance of getting tooltips displayed for systray icons ?

I love this theme, however, it lacks a matching desktop background for my second monitor.

My little icon tray down in the lower right hand of the screen is empty (or isnt there). You know the tray that shows all the programs you are currently using.....any help is appreciated.

zergle, systray tooltips is an issue with DX, not with the theme, unfortunately.

ssonnentaq, download the dual-monitor version.

nfsu2022, update to the latest DX and be sure to restart the computer.

Probably a dumb question but...

When I right click on the tool bar to the left the only option there is "Remove" so I cannot create more icons. Am I doing something wrong? If you could email me at cjuliano@eden.rutgers.edu or post a response here that would be awesome.

I'm new to DesktopX themes and heard about it through a totally unrelated forum. So when I looked it over I probably did what most people do....Download a ton of themes...lol. Well finally after coming to my senses I realized I couldn't use them all and started deleting. I still wasn't really overly excited with what I had left and searched again. That's when I found this theme. I am now overly excited....lol this has to be the best theme I have run across and has great features and especially not a lot of butttons leading to programs I don't have or want and with a few changes shortcut changes I was ready to go. Excellent job Now can you imagine what it will be like when I really know what I'm doing. Thanks for the links above they are my next stop.

I love this desktop. Great job! How do I change the name or add a name under the icons on the bar on the left?

Dwight, with this theme, this is not a functionality that is available. Yet. I have plans to update soon, now that I know the scripting hell that it requires to add that.

Hello I'm a newbie here on Stardock partly due to the attraction of this excellent theme. Great prof. work Chadamus! I certainly appreciate the fact of how you make it possible for anyone to custom tailor your theme to his taste. I should however like to reply to two comments below (18 + 27) concerning the hidden tabs on the left part of the screen. I spent 2 hours trying to find them knowing they were there until I found out how to make them appear. MOVE THE CURSOR TO THE LEFT OF THE SCREEN, LEFT CLICK ON THE MOUSE AND KEEP YOUR FINGER PRESSED WHILE YOU "PULL" TRAYS OUT TOWARDS THE RIGHT. They will come out of hiding right away. And to make things even worse in my case, they wouldn't hide any more and it took me a while longer to realize that I had created an ordinary Windows toolbar beforehand from a previous theme with all of my favorite icons loaded on the SAME SIDE! Two toolbars cannot exist together, (except for the bottom taskbar)and thereby do conflict. The problem was solved as soon as I deactivated this first toolbar. BTW, the GT3 WindowBlind theme blends in perfectly with the rest!
