In general, one needs a good CPU, a good GPU, and much of RAM to make function Desktopx with a theme having many elements. my configuration system when theme is in function is as follows:
os: WIN XP PRO SP2
CPU: PENTIUM 4 2.53Ghz used 20% (40 process)
ram: 768MO used 71%
Pagefile: 4GO used 50%
GPU:(graphics card) ati radeon 9200.
it's a old computer (2003)
Afflicted I can nothing make to my knowledge to lower consumption.

theme memory consumption=9492 ko
theme cpu consumption= 2 to 20 %
informations by windows xp's manager of the spots
deceleration of my PC= never

I have downloaded the file but when I double - clicked on it, no thing has been installed!

your ram and your cpu will use less.
i will make an update just for the analog clock.
like that people who want to keep this clock there is no mater

i think that resolve your mater.
the update was in moderation

where do you live? in general, you click in location name and you type location like that:
Paris, France or ZIP code if know it.
