Hong Kong – Tweaked, is exactly that. I took my previous submission (Hong Kong 5/June/07), and made quite a few changes in form, function, and use of space. Hong Kong was/is my everyday DX and these changes have really made a difference. Maybe you will have a similar experience. 1280x800 and 1280x1024.
Almost all of the details are the same as before, and can be found here
Link (including the task bar toggle at x-1260, y- 780). There are only 3 significant changes. 1) I got rid of the Hard Drive Panel because it didn’t provide “need to know” information and it certainly didn’t monitor rapid change. 2) The work area is defined in this DX. 3) The 5 buttons in the weather section are for frequently used programs. Presently they open Firefox, Outlook Express, PhotoShop CS, ImageReady and MS Word. All have Tool Tips on MO.
Everything in this DX can be changed, modified and/or deleted.
BTW, you might want to check out the Micron2 WB to go with this DX. The colors, texture and form work very well together, and this WB isn’t quirky with some programs like other blinds can be although I did change the font from Dungeon to Arial, which then required increasing the font size by 20% (both can be done in Ctrl Pl >Display >Appearance >Advanced). The Micron2 WB can be found here
Link . Thanks to Dangeruss and Mike Bryant for this brilliant design.
Also, thanks again to Buzzh58 for allowing me to use bits and pieces from his Glass Weather panel and Stormy System Stats panel. Permission is in the WP folder.
WP (and permission) is in a separate folder, details can be found at the above link for Hong Kong.
Credit of course to Martin for the scripts.
No known issues, as this has been road tested for weeks.
Enjoy.
