Looking very good and making it transparent was the right choice RedneckDude.

Had to update it to make it work with the upcoming weather widget. There was a file name conflict. Fixed now.
Sorry.

RND,
I fired up DX3.5 on Win7 x64 and loaded this (and another of your creations) here are some results.
Running dual monitors. When the destop loads everything is jumbled together on the upper left corner of monitor 1. Turned off Dual Monitors and got same result.
ObjectID: folder
Type: Folder Shortcut
location is set to c:\users\Jim Dillard\Desktop\
ObjectID: icon3_3
Type: FILE shortcut
location is set to c:\users\Jim Dillard\Documents
Shouldn't those be set as Folder Shortcuts and set to "Desktop" and "My Documents" respectively?
Fired it up on my xp laptop. Things looked good. Those same two objects worked but there is some flakyness. The "My Documents" link is Object ID:3 and looking at the properties it shows the Location as Favorites. HOWEVER, if you right click on the object and select "Set Target", it is pointing to "My Documents".
The object ID: Folder.. is that a leftover that didn't get removed?
Overall, it's fine on XP and nothing that can't be worked out by some in depth digging and cleaning up behind the scenes. I think 99% of the issues are that DX in it's current form just isn't usable on Win7 with any degree of reliability. We both know the ramifications of using v4 too.

Phoon, I don't know what is the problem. They all work fine on all 4 of my PC's. 2 with 7, 1 with Vista, and one with XP.
I'm certain the problem is on your end. Philly reports no problems as does Xiandi and murex.
I will recheck on all OSes.

As for things being in the upper left corner....what is your res?
I have to put it in the upper left section of the screen so that people with a res of 1024x768 won't have it loading off screen.
