When I open the left side pane...it freezes up the program. Can't do anything with it at that point except bring up the task manager and close it.
Am I setting something wrong?

The media player, I've never been able to download my music so fast.
Love it.
Thank-you

My one complaint, along with others, is that it's off centre, (to the left), and it can't be moved. Personally I wouldn't have minded it top centre on my display, which is only a 17" TFT, (1280x1024).
I know nothing about making this sort of thing, so can't possibly comment on the technical stuff, but very slick, clever, great, etc, etc!!!! Keep it up

May be this is not a serious bug and we can wait until I'll make the next version with integrated unit converter, online translator and media player? Please!

May be the problem is in your Operating System, or in the some settings of your Service Programs which may block the gadget's script?
Sorry again...

This work is more than worthy of the praise it has received. It is gorgeous.
I believe the numerous requests for a 1280x1024 version is due to the popularity of 19-inch LCD monitors. This is the native resolution of the majority of those.
Although I am unable to use this beautiful desktop as I require 1280x1024 as well, I am willing to wait however long it takes. You are obviously dealing with personal and political challenges which are a higher priority.
I enjoyed looking at your photographs. Fishing is great in the Pacific Northwest United States.

my main problem is that the political situation in Ukraine nearly crashed my main business. On this reason I have no free money to buy new computer with a biger monitor. So I have to work on 1024 x 768. Sorry...
However I added a several modifications into the main script and SD Desktop must be loaded on the bottom center of any monitors with any resolutions. The one thing you need to use it - modify the SD wallpaper in photoshop.
Yes! Fishing is cool!!! May be someday I'll use my spinning in the Pacific Northwest together with George Bush?...
Thank You and Best Regrds.

I am having a problem, though. The network portion does not seem to recognize my network connection. It doesn't report any connecte network adapters or statistics, and when I try some of the other network features, like weather, it tells me I don't have a network connection.
I'm on 64 bit Vista Enterprise, and use wireless as my network connection. The connection is working just fine.

Sorry but I can't guarantee you the good results because I always use LAN or Dial Up and never any other network connections. However I'll try...
Best Regards

I haven't ever used DesktopX, so I don't know what your hooks into the system are, but I'd guess that they're different somehow in 64 bit Vista, or that they're being blocked somehow by security settings on my machine. Everything else seems to be working OK.
I did notice that the taskbar automatically chooses a larger (taller) size, I think because of the system tray icons being larger. I can force it to use the smaller size, with WindowBlinds, but the system tray icons don't get smaller, and they don't fit in the smaller system tray area.
Have fun with your new computer! I'll look forward to any tips you might have on troubleshooting the network stuff!
