Just DLed the latest one - and for some reason, even with DesktopX 2.39a[b].002, it's still not loading. :/ Any suggestions? I DLed Stardock Central just to use this, but I guess I can wait. Currently using Orbital, but the weather icons are a bit hard for me to make out there, so in goes GT3, to match the rest of the theme.

Edward, does the dxpack version load for you?

Wildharp and Skryme, did you download the updated version? (it has been updated twice) If you did and it's still not working you might need to delete the original from your widget cache before running the most recent version. The widget cache is located in your desktopx install folder.

Fantastic skin!! Any chance for a sysmetrix skin that includes the features of all of these GT3 desktop X widgets? Also, any plans for a winamp skin to accompany this suite?

Tiggz: Yeah, the DXPAck version works fine. The reason I got Stardock Central was to pick up the beta so I co uld do the Widget, though. And I've checked my Widgetcache - it's empty.

Great widget. One suggestion though. The widget does not seem to remember its state correctly. I generally keep the main window open with the mini display invisible and everytime I reboot the widget defaults to the mini display showing. Not that its a big deal to just double click the mini window to open up the main window but it would be nice if you could make it so that it remembers that the main window should be open.

Thanks, keep up the good work.

It works fine with Canada too. I tried out Montreal. In the Field where you can change the City type: e.g. Montreal (you don't need to type the Country).
btw: Every Weather Object from Tiggz works with Canada.

Thanks madd I didn't know that. I got it and it works great, thanks for the help and thanks to Tiggz for making it.

This widget kiks butt. I've been looking for a nice small weather widget for my desktop for a while. GREAT work And since I use the CPU meter and the clockk too, I have a matching set. You are becoming the king of Widgets .

A first thank's for this excellent job.
Every morning I'm waiting for another widget
GT3 Weather work's fine in my home. But I've some difficulties in my office. I can't update the wather or the others informations (centigrade (in fact celsius) instead of faraneit...)

The international weather object script by _Martin_'s can't pass throught the proxy server at my office .

I must relooking Jot-wee's DTweatherforecastJW widget (works fine with my proxy) with GT3 skin. Here comes the resul :

Please, can you give me the solution for working with youre widget and my proxy ?

when the dx betas become release versions then I can update the recycle bin and cpu widgets - dx seems to be in a state of flux at the moment and I am basically working on stuff and getting it ready to be released when dx 2.4 comes out

cyberpic I will look into that issue, probably have a peek at Jot-wee's object and see if I can work it out

Well, what once worked seems to not work now and has been the widget from hell! We get the mini-mode just fine, but now it flat out refuses to respond and show the Main window.

Medwynd - first unload dx then run regedit and navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\DesktopX\Widget\Tiggz\GT3mm (or alternatively open the regedit find dialog and enter "GT3mm")

delete the entire key - this will force the widget to re-initialise all its saved settings (in case they have become corrupted for some reason). Reload dx.

Firedogs, this may also work for your problem.

If that doesn't stop the script errors Medwynd, then I am at a loss, as the widget runs fine for me. The only thing that could really go awry is dodgy saved settings.
