Dx has been updated again today. If you got 2.40.034 it is now to version 2.40.035. I don't know if it addresses any of these issues.

I didn't make any of the changes you suggested Tiggz. I did install DesktopX 2.40.035 and it stopped the script errors.

On a side note is there a way you could make the widget remember its state? I like to just have the main window open without the mini window open, but whenever I reboot the mini window is open by default. Not thats its a big deal to just double click it to get the main window up ubt would be nice. Thanks.

nice work... the ONLY thing I'm missing is to change the time for sunrise & sunset into a 24 hour clock...

Well, it was nice work for a little while for me, anyways. I downloaded it, it worked great, but then for some reason the options box refused to come up anymore. I can change the colors, show/hide the border, but the options box refuses to appear. Right now the zip code is stuck in a place I don't live in right now and I can't switch it back. I can use the older spherical weather widget of yours, but this one is no longer functional for me. I've tried deleting the widget and deleting the widget's cache, but to no avail. Help?

Nevermind. I finally did what I shoulda done: full uninstall and reinstall. And I'm talking about firing up regedit to delete every single reference of "DesktopX" uninstall (grr). I think what happened is that during one of my driver updates, my screen size was reset from 1280x1024 (my normal) to 800x600. Thus pushed the options window off the bottom-right corner of the screen. When I reset my screen size back up, the window apparently decided to use the bottom-right corner as a reference point for it's position and simply stayed off screen. With no way to bring it back ON the screen, I was screwed. If this is what happened, then the positioning of the windows should probably be set to never clip outside the viewable area to avoid such problems as this.

Skryme, and anyone else for that matter, widget updated - the problem was not that it wasn't saving the locations, it just wasn't updating the text with the saved location names when it loaded. There's quite alot of scripting involved in this widget and I guess that one just got by me Hopefully it should work now - further bug reports very welcome and appreciated

Firstly, great job love the layout/features/look! In regard the the above quoted bug, here is my situation: I can't set a dual time with my home weather.. I can either set home city weather and not get dual time (both display local time) or set local time to 'other' time as default and get the dual time displaying properly... Is there anything I am missing ie. configuration or is it as the above bug stated.

Cheers for a great

Hey tiggz

if you're reading this can u plz e-mail me at surferguy13@gmail.com. I've made a desktop sidebar skin to match your K-TEK Brushed Steel skin. I've used some of your images from the skin and I need your consent before i release it. Julian

For some odd reason, I can't use your weather widgets/gadgets. I can't input my location, Laval, PQ, Canada, or my code. I tried several different weather widgets/gadgets, and they are all the same. I have Desktopx 3.0, and run XP, am always connected to net and all other widgets/gadgets work except weather ones. Any advice? I'm at my wit's end. I really want to use a weather widget/gadget, they're just awesome. Regards, ~Mayo

Another great weather widget that deserves an update.  If Tiggz gives RD his permission to update this, then I'm sure RD would do a great job.  I think it only requires tweaking the script to get access to a different weather site.
