So what am I doing wrong, the larger can only shows empty state, the smaller can shows a full state but only momentarily before switching to empty state..

i have turned on both the large and small glassy bins but now I don't know how to turn them off? When I right-click on the trash can, it does not give me an option to close like other widgets. Please advise, i just want one can! thanks.

Right click on the Recycle Bin icon which is in the taskbar/tray, where the time is, from there you can close it

Excellent widggies. Just on the gross side...thankfully no one has come up with a Recycle bin ...as a clear toilet! Yet.

I saw somewhere a Windows option to hide it, but I don't remember where to find this option again

Great as always, and love the 2 sizes, I just got a larger monitor and the small is too small now and the large would have been too big before but is just right now...

Adni & DoggNova: If you've got DesktopX or IconX you can configure IconX to not display the recycle bin within it's config window.

thanks for the tip brncofan7, however, i am in the desktopX configure menu and i don't see anything about the recycle bin?
also, does everyone see 2 replies by me that are duplicated? not sure why this is happening?

Yes, DoggNova , brncofan7 has right, go to DesktopX - Settings and under the IconX tab chose "Configure IconX" button,
in the next window click the tab:option and there check the "Recycle Bin" check box.
