Damn, that's sweet, dude!

Excellent work! (As always ).

Notice you have a similar weather object in the works, also.

Always looking forward to your work!

Any plans for a WB in this style? Still pretty much addicted to Cabal, but if you've got something in the works, I could be convinced to change

It's a great interface.

However, it's not changing my wallpapers...

Wallpaper isn't changing also. XP Pro SP2.

Edit: When I go to the Display Properties, the wallpaper has changed there. It just doesn't show as the background.

That's funny!

It happened in my Display Properties too!

Not sure what the cause of that could be - it would seem that the widget is doing what it's supposed to if the wallpaper is showing up in display properties, but I really don't know

Yes, this is very nice. I'm also having the same problems, as the above comments. It could replace my (WebShots Proggie) if it only worked. Hope you can fix it.

Works fine with Windows XP Pro SP2 and DesktopX 3.00.041. It also overrides wallpaper set using DesktopX themes and wallpapers set through Windows display properties.

Excellent "wiggie", Tiggz!

I think I figured out what was causing the problem.

The problem was the desktop not refreshing. If you changed your wallpaper using this widget, then clicked the desktop and pressed F5 (refresh) the new wallpaper is shown.

Okay, with that said, having the icons not being displayed cause the desktop not to be refreshed for me. Showing the desktop icons fixed this problem.

It would be great if anyone else could test this and post here.

(Tiggz, if this works, you may want to put it in the description)

DrDrrae,

That's it!

If the desktop icons are NOT hidden then it works! Otherwise, it doesn't.

Unfortunately, my desktop icons are always hidden...

Tiggz...you've done it again.
It's absolutely fantastic!!! You're work just blows me away.

BTW....I have absolutely no problems w/ this running XP Pro w/ SP2, a multitude of your other widgets, sysmetrix, and my icons are hidden!

I can't even begin to imagine what you will come up w/ next!

Very nice widget Tiggz.. the only thing that i didnt like about it is that when i try to recolor it it also changes the hue of the thumbnails on it. Also it'd be nice to have the top part come down when not in use to make it smaller.. with some sort of eyecandy animation like only you know how to do Those are just minor things tho.. its still a very nice widget
