To Jedijax:

I tried to send you e-mail but couldn't because of Wincustomize bugs...

1. Look here how we may check GMail incoming e-mails: WWW Link

2. Please go to the Gmail help center and look what they offered us to Atom to check incoming mails:WWW Link.

I think we need find the similar way for Yahoo.

To rrh8731: Sorry but I have no ideas what happened with LaunchBar on your PC and why it doesn't work.

Great work! Your SD series is really fantastic! I am using your launch bar however after I configure, restart the computer, it will turn back to original. Please advice how to save those after configurated setting. Thanks in advance

I can't seem to add any program shortcuts that are "more than just an '.exe' file, for example to launch my different applications for FM Radio or TV they must be: "C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\ATIMMC.exe" /FM and "C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\ATIMMC.exe" /TV+ but it won't let me do that...I've got many programs like this, so if I can't do it its basically useless, which is a shame, I love this appi!

It seems to me I understood what happened. You need to type the command line without quotation marks!

For example:

C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\nero.exe /w - to run Nero Express or:
C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\ATIMMC.exe /FM
C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\ATIMMC.exe /TV+
in your case.

Hope this help you.

Hey, long time no see Vad!!... sorry I didn't answer since... uhm... well... october?? Anyway, I have read the two pages from your links on scripting for incoming mail checks, and I must say... I DIDN'T GET A DAMN THING!!! AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!! Might as well have been in ancient hebrew!! So... uhm... where do I look for something similarly strange and difficult to work for Yahoo Mail??... That's the thing, isn't it??

Thank you!

Yes really a lot of work... But I have realized my Great Dream - create the desktop applications with DesktopX. And I'm really happy now.

By the way I already know where I'll buy Cinema 4D next month. Your clock has shown me the way how to spend less time for making new skins.

Wow, but that's a nifty thing you've crafted, Vad! Certainly one of the most useful tool ever set on a desktop. Many thanks for your work. I've long dreamed of such a toolbar. I've installed the vista version on my xp system, and it worked for a few days (which was great for the skinning options) then it dissapeared. I then installed the xp version and was glad to see it was easy to transfer the data and icons. But now I can't help crying over the lost skinning options. Will there ever be a skinnig update of the xp version? And if not, is there anywhere I can access the shell files to re-skin them through photoshop?

Thank you!

1. The XP version of Launch Bar is a part of SD Desktop. On this reason it contains the only one "SD" skin that may not be changed.

2. This is very strange that Vista version has disappeared on your XP computer... It must work and it work at least for me! Just some minor functions like built-in system services and Control Panel browsing may work with little mistakes. So I think that you may use it on your XP computer.

Best Regards and Happy New Year!

I'm very sorry but I have no any ideas...

I can't understand why these gadgets became unvisible on your desktop. There are no any commands in their scripts that may do this!

I use LaunchBar every day because can't work without this tool. As well as I use the Player sometimes. But I have never seen a problem you told about... Seems to me this is a little DesktopX bug...

What Operating System is installed on your PC?

Dear Vad.
Awesome work on this gadget! Let me start off by saying when it worked, it was like a new era to desktops and computing. Now, here's my downfall, as others have had this issue aswell. The gadget will work flawlessly until a reboot is issued (with autorun set to ON). I have used both 4.0 and 5.0, and they both act the same way. They will work great until a reboot then the icon shows in the taskbar but nothing else. When the icon is clicked from the taskbar an error shows up saying the gadget has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down. I have tried all the little fixes you have posted and nothing seems to make a difference. I would like to have this gadget working 'cause it makes a huge change when it works. Awesome work none the less and I hope maybe this problem can be solved.

Unfortunately it was my last ideas about this problem. I think that only Stardock can solve this if they will find and correct all bugs in DesktopX...

Any gadgets or widgets are only the set of images and user's scripts controled by DesktopX. Sometimes it works incorrect on closing these applications. I have on problems with LauchBar but I have a big problem with Skin Checker on my Vista PC... (

I can't understand what is wrong. But I'm sure that Stadrock need to check the DesktopX module that clear the temporary data in PC memory and Temp User's folder. The Sub OnScriptExit works with a several bugs that must be discovered and corrected only by Stardock developers. I really can't help you at the moment or I need to decompile DesktopX (that protected by Copyright!) to see how it scripted.

Best Regards.
