Nice piece of original thought. Best calendar yet for my desktop. I give it a 10 because of its simplicity and user friendleness.

I really like this. So simple, yet clean and versatile. I was wondering, is it possible to have different colors? Like red, or black, so it can be integrated into a variety of desktops better?

Sheesh _Martin_ you keep coming up with great stuff.

A question: You say "Just import it into DesktopX and adjust the settings."

ummm...how do you import a widget into DX? I wanted to play around with all the settings for this calendar, but can't quite figure that one out.

Thanks,

David

LOL Sometimes my ignorance surprises even me. I didn't realize you could do that. (I figured it out)

insekta,

Basically you just need to change the background graphic, set it's "Advanced properties" so it stretches as you'd like and then set the parameters withing the month script. My link in the original object shows a sample of how you can customise it.

The "Load Objects" dialog has options at the top for widgets. Check that and then select from the widget list.

LOL exactly Qmix.

_Martin_, I have problems with my screen redraws/refreshes, whatever they are called, anytime I have an object with a timer on the desk. This calendar really doesn't need the timer does it? I don't want to rip this thing up without asking first. Couldn't it just set everything up the first time it's activated and just stay that way until the next time? I rarely use my computer continuously past midnight.

Thanks,

David

Ahh, ok, so you would need the timer to set it all up the first time. The timer could then be killed, yes?
