Back before the turn of the century there was a gadget or something that was strings of Christmas tree lights you could replicate and use to decorate you screen. I don't remember now if it was a Stardock thing or not. I used for quite a few years back then.
It was called Holiday Bulbs by Tiger Technologies. Unfortunately they have discontinued any support of it, but if you have a copy of it you can (or you can download an XP copy of it from their site) use the serial number on their site to use the program if you have misplaced yours. They still do have a zip file of the bulbs also you can download.
