Always looks a bit blurry to me this one. It is lovely, but lots of artifacts and blur... Need an even more HD version- but that will kill the processor. Hard to strike a balance I guess!

The moving parts outside the machine are not as sharp as the inside and it sounds like you have your brightness up very high.

Thanks, and nothing was changed from the GUIC entry.

Same for me. I never used this dream much because it's blurry and too bright. The black is "light black", maybe because all the sharp lines in the dream it becomes blurry. I agree with the current 3/5 star rating. Why not make a very high resolution dream? You could have two versions, the x1120 standard and a very high resolution. I wouldn't mind a 500mb download if it was in very high quality. I'm sure all the people with a superb computer setup wouldn't mind a truly amazing HD dream, even if it would take one hour to download.

The max file size that can be created with DreamMaker is 150mb. Since this dream is so long, The MasterBaron had to sacrifice visual quality a hair to keep the file size down. I would be willing to bet that the original AVI was around 20GB.

If this dream is too bright on your system, right click on your desktop and change your video and TV brightness level down a little in your video card control panel.

Personally, I think this dream turned out sweet and was a well deserved first place winner!
I voted for it.

It's a shame that DreamMaker has that limitation. I have created dreams for my home system of 1 gb and higher. I can't redistribute the content, but I've found no technical issues whatsoever with larger sized dreams. BTW anyone know what the pros/cons are of the Internal Player vs. the System Default with .dreams?

I could switch to wmv to get a smaller file with higher bit rate at a cost of CPU. But I no longer have the original animation material. I would have to re-render the fractal animation which will take 4-5 days depending on the quality I render it at. I don't keep it because, as CarGuy said, it takes about 20GB of space.

I have about 20 TB of drive space and plenty of rendering capacity if that can be of use.

Sure, just ship me all the equipment and I'll get to work on it.

do you think you could give me the raw .mpg file? because i do not have vista, only XP and i have bsplayer, which alows me to put a video i have as backround. Closest thing i can get to real dream ...and i cant find any .mpg files

Gorgeous and impressive. I've just been sitting here staring at it. Top notch stuff, thanks!

I would love a HD version as well, but this is completely acceptable in lieu of such a thing.  Beautiful art.

I've seen this in my dream once . Awesome work! I agree with Slizut, would love to have to see a HD version.

You need to ask Santa for some external (currently available up to 3TB) hard drives (I call 'em Grab-n-Go Storage)! Everything you've ever produced would fit in one satchel. It would be well worth the investment, because your stuff is extraordinary.

The secret is to lower the brightness on the dream in Dreamscapes. Lowering the brightness makes the faux black fully black, eliminates the washed out colours and pixelation on the side animations - all while still maintaining the beauty of this dream.

Love this dream, any idea if it will ever be re-released for win8?
