i'm trying to make up some of my Dreams from scratch instead of simple Video cropping and looping , in order to have a little something different to show off . Enjoy !

This dream looks like it would be great. But.... It will not, for some reason, work on my system. I have re-installed both dreamscene and deskscape with no luck. If anyones got any pointers, I'm all ears. I have had this problem with a few dreams so far which has been no big deal, but this one is one of those must haves.

I'm not sure what your problem is but to start with 2 gigs of ram seems to be a must for the Dreams to work best thats what i have and they all work . Do you have 2 gigs of ram - past this i'm not sure what to say , but maybe you can make a post in the forum for help from one of the techs or just e-mail tech-support for other ideas on a fix

I have the same as above user, this and 2 others I have obtained here today will not start, I have to manually crach the explorer to get back to change the wallpaper. I have ran some really cpu and ram intensive ones and yeah it ran my 3.06HT and 1GB of ram up pretty high some of them but this and these 2 will not start at all(Arizona Desert Sunflare, and glowing tunnels)

All Dreams I submit run on my computer at least one full day before I submit and then another one to five days before approval before you get them .... so they have been fully tested by then ( on my machine ) ..... I'm running a Duo-Core 64 bit Pent. Media Center PC with only an ATi 128mb Vid Card but I do have 2 gigs hi-speed ram and use a 2gig thumb drive for Ready-Boost from time to time - all Dreams still work though with-out the Ready-Boost ... Sooooo I Think this is a matter for WC tech support to try to solve the problem why some people are having some problems with some dreams , when other people like me don't have any problems

I have the same problem like Isdmeasap. I have 40 dreams and all works fine, but your 3 dreams(Rolling Ball, Az Desert Sun Flares,Glowing Funnel Tunnels)works not for me. Then i start one of your dreams, my sys stands still and i must crash the explorer to get back to change the wallpaper.
My sys.: D 805, 2 gigs of ram, gainward 7900 bliss+, vista 32 bit.
What can i do?

I don't understand this either why some Dreams work for most people and a select few have a problem with a few Dreams - plain and simple the Dreams are made in the MPG2 format and then converted to the .dream file for download - 1 format for all ( unless you go .wmv but then CPU usage goes up ) - You would think if 1 MPG2 file and 1.dream file works for you they should all work - but they don't.-could it be maybe in the coding of the Mother Programs ( DreamScene and/or DeakScapes ) were the problem lies ??? - Like I said before all my Dreams are fully tested to work flalessly on my machine before submission - so I'm stumped why you chosen few have the problems when 100's of others don't . Enough has been mentioned about this in various Dream posts that I would expect WC to address the problem sooner or later - they made the program and it will probaley be one of their techs who will fiquer it out - hopefully soon - 'cause some people are getting upset . This Dream thing is a whole new Concept and as such it would be very unlikley for it not to have a few flaws ( bugs ) out the gate . Hopefully in time this will work itself out - but I would like to see this issued addressed by WC as to what they think is going on ?????��

I think it still may be some codecs problem. Everyone should update to the latest vista codec pac.

Ok, thanks for the replys guys and your concern azdude! I will try using the new codec package, that may be the problem, As I have played all the new ones here and only 3 will not play. I was using a older 4.2.7 codec package.
Will report back if that was the problem or not

After deinstalling codec 4.2.7 your dreams works perfect.

Great to hear that Matthias, I have yet to have time to get in vista, been gone and doing things. Just came here to comment to azdude that I thought it may very well be a codec issue, cause now that I think of it, (after reading your forum thread) the only ones I was having issues with were 3 from you. So it must be how you encoded them first!
