This is just great! I would like to give some oppinion however,
1. Background of stars that must be stick at where they are when zooming.
2. The graphic of Moon is to fricky so it must have more clean view.
3. Don't stop the moon when it pass. Just little bit more slowly...

Anyway it is the best that I ever seen! Good job, please consider what I
mentioned though.

These are great suggestions.
1. I was trying to give the stars a 3D feel by moving them, I guess it doesn't come off that way.
2. I'll try and sharpen the moon up, it's a HI-RES NASA image, so I'm not sure why it's as blurry as it is.
3. I had trouble getting a good direction change going around the moon, so I settled on this. I'll keep working on it.

Thanks,
Master Baron

I like this one a lot ...smooth, not jumpy at all and well animated.

Perhaps just a little slower through the loop would be good, but not that important.

Thankyou VERY much for sharing this wonderful dream, TheMasterBaron.

Yeah; the problem with the starfield is that in relation to the Earth, the movement through space would not actually see any scaling out of stars at all, much less to the degree you've shown. Space dust between the Earth and moon that passes through the field of vision might be a better way of showing movement.

The rotating Earth is by far the best I've ever seen, and I agree - the moon is too blurry (objects in the foreground really shouldn't be blurrier than objects farther off). I personally would prefer to see a treatment similar to Stardock's Stellar Dream, where your position in space is sedentary. You could still show the Earth itself moving in an arc across the screen, changing size of course as it gets closer to your point of view. An animated fiery ball for the Sun in the corner would make it even cooler.

All that said - absolutely FANTASTIC first try.

I agree with the suggestions for improvements already made above, but having said that, I really like this dream and I think it is one of the better ones around.

Amazing dream, I would prefer it though without the moon, just the earth alone looks amazing.

Is there any way you could make one with just the earth rotating slowly? By the way love the dream but the moon has to go, or have the moon orbiting the earth in 3d with the 3d earth great stuff!

I agree with Shelby69 et al. That's the best animation of a rotating earth I've seen - having that on it's own would be awesome - zoomed out though, with a good view of the surrounding stars/galaxies.

Nice job TheMasterBaron.

I love the Earth with the atmosphere rotating around above it. I too would love to see just that alone. Great job!

You'll all be glad to hear that I'm working on another version of this one, and one focused on the Earth rotating!

This looks fantastic. The frame rate is perfect and it has a real nice feel to it. I like the other ones on your site aswell it's a shame people won't get to see them on here but this one is something else. Thanks
