I Thought about Shooting Stars coming from all different ways but then
decided to keep it simple and non - distracting instead by just having
the one with the tiny blinking stars - thus you got a animated wall that
almost just looks like a dark wall for those who like the Dark Backgrounds ..
anyway that was my thinking

What would be cool is if you could add some sort of random factor into it as a dynamic dream so that the stars would appear in different places

Very nice! I've been working on a star field fly through as I was experimenting with stars for my Apollo dream. I was thinking along the same lines; Dark background, with small things moving as to not be that distracting for those people who like it that way. Mine isn't a subtle as yours as it has lots of stars flying around like the XP starfield screen saver.
