Its now slowed down by 300%. Looks much better. (I think so anyway)

To slow it down by half in After Effects you can time stretch the layer to 200%. Right-click on your clip in the timeline, choose Time Stretch, and change it to 200%. Then right-click on your clip again and choose frame blending by pixel motion.
This link shows you how to do it. Skip up to the part of where he stretches his 1 second clip to 5 and it will explain the above.
