Interesting, I don't have that problem. What resolution is your monitor? Can you check to see if the background setting set to fill?

My resolution is 1920x1080 and I have deskscapes set to fill. This dream is so extraordinary I have it on my screen even with the black strips (about an inch) on each side. Not sure why - tried several other dreams and it only appears to be happening with this one

But i have the same issue with the strips, like @larry11656.
My resolution is 2720x1530, but if i change the resolution to 1920x1080, the strips don´t go away.
