Very nice effect. The early motion of it revolving (due to curve and going one way) makes it a little too heavy to watch without a little dizzyness. What I could suggest is to tone down the particle instances and make multiples going against each other randomly. Also some clouded effects to break up the linear look of the lines. Not sure how but the loop needs to be smoothed out.
I of course think you have really hit on something here. It looks very nice and has a lot of potential. Forgive me if my constructive criticizing is too blunt.
