I really like this a lot - but I can't seem to change the background to a different color. I have the light background which is not listed in my "disable" commands (every other color is there). I am on Win8x64.

@larry11656, I don't have Win8 unfortunately so I can't test it, in Win7 you can scroll down using the tiny scrollbar to get to the bottom where the Light scheme is. It is the topmost background layer so thats why you're stuck on it. It might be a Deskscapes bug in which case I'm sure Neil will sort it out very soon.

Im on Windows 7 and can confim the same issue. I am unable to "Disable" the light version. When I scroll down in the settings, the Disable Dark version is the bottom setting. I went into the guts and renamed the blue Background to the light version for it to show the blue BG.

Works fine for me on Windows 8. I am able to disable light version and it changes to dark version and so on. Thanks for the great Dream !!

it works for me as well (windows 8 X64 w/ WMC)
And I would like to thank you! You seem to be the only user who consistantly creates hybrid themes! I highly prefer hybrid BG's to videos, plus your BG's are fantastic! (just fgured I'd add a thank you since I was posting anyway 
) keep up the good work!
oh and also, thanks for keeping us multi-monitor users in mind!

I think the problem must then be due to a bug with Deskscapes, I would try upgrading to the latest version. If its still not working please give the team a headsup with a description of your setup.

Works perfect for me on windows 7 and I am using Deskscapes v3.50. This version of Deskscapes has a "Background Settings" tab located in the lower left, there I can change to all background colors with no problem.
