I am going to tell you this from an artist's perspective, that you are wrong. People like you whom are against all negative criticism are bad; you -HURT- development by telling artists that everything is fantastic, by celebrating mediocrity. If an artist believes everything he releases is flawless, he has no motivation to improve.
When I release things, I WANT people to tell me what I did wrong. I want people to hurt me. Both positive and negative critiques will always be exaggerated, so an artist has to have a thick skin. He has to have the ability to interpret a medium of all positive and negative criticism and take NOTHING personally.
It is disasterous to silence negative criticism in an attempt to shield an artist from the world. This is not kindergarten.
