Fascinating, I really liked the shrinking part at the end. But could you make them a little less monochromatic?

Thanks everyone.

But could you make them a little less monochromatic?

I play with the colors on all the fractal dreams. I usually settle on a color because I can't find anything I like better.

Hey I love this Dream but I'm having a little bit of an issue... it seems that the Dream file I downloaded plays for about 5 seconds or so and loops itself back to the beginning. I have redownloaded the file twice and also tried renaming it because i think my first download was dodgy but nothing seems to work =/

Sounds like a decoder problem. What Version of Vista are you running? What mpeg-2 codec do you have installed? Go to this folder on your hard drive (C:\ProgramData\Stardock\DeskScapes\ExtractedData) and find the Solar Flare folder that contains a file called flare2.mpg file. Play it in Window Media Player and see if it works there.

Really? I think it looks great on my 1920x1200 display. Since DreamMaker imposes a 150mb cap, it's not going to get any better than this.

Thanks bro I deleted the extracted flare2.mpg file that must've been from my first buggy download and I reloaded it works fine now

This is top notch! What was used to make it? Specifically? I'd like to look into that tool! 5 stars!

Apophysis to create the fractal and animate it using a Apophysis script

This one is very well done. I found that your previous dreams ran too choppy/slow on my new X61s laptop (we road warriors have to stay entertained too); however, this one runs quite smoothly - so much so that I took a chance on your new UtopiaPrime dream as well - and I was not disappointed...you seem to be fine-tuning your skills. Thanks for the nice add-on...and I will now be watching your future releases more closely.

All my dreams since, and including, Good Night Earth are MPEG-2. That may be the difference. Happy to hear your enjoying them!

By the way, I don't know if it would be much work or not, but I like this dream (solar flare) enough to where if you could release a color pack, say with this dream in red/yellow/green/dark blue, I would be more than happy to purchase it from you. I bet others might too. Thanks again for the nice work.
