Wonderful sdemo, they look great on my desktop as well! I do have a question for you if you don�t mind. Are you using a gradient for the highlight and then transforming it? I�ve been working on my own set of orbish icons and I�ve been using just that for the highlight but they never look as clean as your�s do.
Anyway, thank you for creating these and sharing! I�m using them right now and they will be living on my desktop for a long time to come!

Whoop,
I know what you mean when you say it doesnt look as good if you transform the gradient. All of the online tutorials say to transform the gradient but I found that the bottom part of the gradient never blended in with the rest of the orb. So to answer your question, I just used the Elliptical marquee tool to outline the area that I wanted the gradient to be, and then filled it with the gradient tool. It works a lot better, but may take a few tries to get it to look right. I'm glad you like the icons, thanks for the compliments.
