Nice but can you do a .zip file instead of that silly .dockzip format file ? (at least just for one reason: .dockzip is a Stardock format and it un-compressed in X:\Mes Documents\ObjectDock Library\Images ... BUT, if there's already images with same names they will will overwritten ... )

Thank you for the comment, I will probably update that issue. Although I do wonder since the files unzip to the library, the weather icons shouldn't be stored there anyway so there shouldn't really be any overwriting taking place. Unless of course you have icons specifically named 00, 01, 02, etc. in that folder.

Yeah Kurtin...these are a great idea!...just banged a few of them out myself. But it would be better in a .zip file. The .dockzip thing can cause problems...another thing that needs to be fixed in OD.

thanks gizmos, it should already be updated at this point to that .zip file. i didn't assume it might cause some issues, but yep it's better to be safe than sorry.

How do you transfer or change the new icons to the weather docket? I've tried every way known to me; and have failed miserably. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

if you didn't move anything around from install, there should be a folder called "docklets" >> "weather" >> "icons" and you should be able to replace the icons as they are named. you might want to move the old icons to another folder first so you don't overwrite/lose them.

Thanks for replying Kurtin, but I have the free version, does that make any difference?! Cause I opened the ObjectDock Properties>> docklets>> weather docklet>> and it only shows who the creator for that docklet was. Now, folder... should I search in Themes>> Object Dock library>> ...??? Puzzled, sorry!!!

it's not under the dock properties tab. you'll actually need to go to the directory where you installed the program. having the free version shouldn't matter (i think). i would think you installed the program to your C drive, so follow this path and see if it works... C://Program Files//Stardock//Object Dock//Docklets//Weather//Icons hopefully you'll find them there

Thanks again for responding Kurtin, but the problem is not finding the icons, I know where they are @. The problem is replacing the old ones with the new ones... that is, how do I change the old image (Jeff Bargmann docklet) to the new ones. Thanks again!

if the icons for your docklet use the names 00,01,02, etc. replacing them should be all you need to do, so just delete the old icons or move them to a different folder somewhere else if you want to save them...and put my icons where the old ones used to be. i know this works with the weather docklet that comes with the program. if your docklet is different and uses varying icon names that those i provided, you'll need to change them yourself to match what your docklet recognizes for icons. here are the icon descriptions (or a link to them in post #5)WWW Link
