I have read the following comment several times: You should be able to just double click the file and it will download the background your objectdock library. If not, just right click on the file you have downloaded and navigate to "open with > ObjectDock". This is impossible to do, and I am tired of being made to feel like an idiot because I am having a problem with the .dockzip. I have followed your instructions and the instructions of others to the "T" and nothing has worked so far. Surely it has to mean my program is missing something. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and I still can't utilze any thing from WinCustomize if it's packaged in a .dockzip file.
I am operating Windows Vista 32-bit and ObjectDock Plus 2.0. One of the reasons I purchased the program is due to the problems I was having with the .dockzip files using ObjectDock Free. I mistakenly believed that the reason I couldn't unzip or open these files was because it was the Free version.
Let me just say: IT DOESN'T WORK!! I cannot unzip the .dockzip file. When I try I rec a message telling me that this file (*.dockzip is not associated with any program). I cannot "right" click and open it or see what is in it. Nothing! And I have also read numerous times: "Just change the .dockzip to .zip and extract" - THIS DOESN'T WORK EITHER! Please would someone just tell me (1) what program toi associate to the .dockzip (objectdock.exe doesnt do it); (2) what I need to download to be able to open the .dockzip; or (3) have the option to download in either format (.dockzip or .zip).
I really love the concept of having my objectdock files self-extracting and automatically placed in the correct folder. It would save me time and alleviate my frustration level.
