Correct if I'm wrong, Object Dock 2 is not yet available. I've pre-ordered but have yet to see ant news. This is a very nice dock. Was wondering why you had the png's in the zip.Thank you also for the PSD file, awesome.

My email for pre-order arrived Mar 30th. It was just a standard thank for purchase email, did not state ObjectDock2 Beta.

It's not available yet, but people are starting to receive the beta version (me) so I figured this would not only benefit some people now, but also give some people a preview of what the config capabilities are. When more people start receiving it, they will be happy to know I've supplied them with one more dock to compliment the great one's included. -Also, this is a self test for skinning the new version. -Edit, terribly sorry I misspoke about objectdock 2 being released.......I meant to say Objectdock 2 beta.

Really cool! ......Just wondering if You know, the zip also contained the psd.......and it seems like OD+2 creates Cache files in a skins folder when it is applied. So, to decrease the file size, You should delete the Cache files before You zip it.

Yeah, I always include psd files in case people want to change something. And sorry about the cache files.......for some reason I assumed they were needed but like you said, I guess they would refresh. Thanks!

well done G3 ! you are really welcome with the first 2.0 skin ! (my bad I never had O.D. "plus", just hoping there will be the freeware when the 2.0 version will get out of the beta !)

Thanks Frankell! So far OD 2 has some new exciting features. It really gives us more freedom for skinning.

Where do I extract this dock? I have put it in the backgrounds folder and it doesn't show up and there isn't anything in OD 2 that tells you where. It looks great I just can't use it.

Extract the folder "X-2 Reflection" into the backgrounds folder. Then, you may have to unload objectdock and reload it for it to appear in the objectdock config. When objectdock is loaded, open the settings dialogue, go to change the skin, and scroll down to the bottom. "X-2" should be an option at that point. Let me know if you have further problems.

Thanks for your help, the dock I was trying to change was a tabbed dock, probably why it didn't show up, it only said change theme. There is no change the skin setting or button on the settings tab, if it's something that should be there please let me know. Thanks again for your help!
