As noted on the features list, I'm working on animated icons as overlays for the current icon. The text is just a place holder until I get everything tweaked just right.

Love this concept! As lalfonsob said, having the ability to toggle the Winamp window open should be an option. I'd also like the ability to change the Winamp icon. Could you display "Winamp" as the title when nothing is playing? Again, I can tell this docklet will be big in the future. Keep up the good work!

Just FYI, this works for QCD if you change the winamp2 path. Now if only we could change the Icon...

If you'd like to change the icon, its fairly easy. Just replace winamp.png in the Docklets\WinampPimplet\Icons directory with whatever you want. I'll make this easier in the next release, which is ALMOST DONE!

Great Start on a useful Docklet. I'm curiousabout its bugs.
It is supposed to verify the path to winamp every time?
Has anyone noticed it loads multiple instances of winamp?
It crashes when playing Shoutcast streams that have song title support.

Play-Status and Track are only shown correct when started from the icon.
Winamp MainWindow is NEVER shown (only Playlist and EQ).
-> starts winamp as a process only (see taskmanager)
I would VERY MUCH like this one if it worked as it should!

Using winamp v5.03 here and it works 'nearly' perfectly...:
Show winamp doesn't work (and i would really like it to work, as minimizing winamp is then impossible to get it back using objectdock hiding windows' taskbar, except with 2 cents hints, ie having a false objectdock taskbar to minimize a preview of winamp, or same with RKlauncher... that's really annoying)
things i'd like to see for future improved versions: when over winamp icon, wheel up and down should controll volume, Ctrl+wheel could prev/next songs... Also a time after title could be perfect (depending on winamp display, time past, or left...)

Oh! Another one! With your docklet I can't get the Winamp Window, I will like an option or command to unhide the Winamp window! Everything else is great!
