do you have any estimated time of completion for the interval implimentation... i keep checking this daily if it takes a month.. OK, so then i'll wait a month before i check again ..

Thanks again - Bill

Any idea when a new version wil be out? I can't get my IMAP to work.

Also, I leave all of my messages on my pop3 server. So, in the dock, it says I have 194 messages. Any way to purge the list that the docklet makes?

Cool stuff!!!

So Far the best mail checker I have used for AveDesk.

Is this still in development or is source available?

Even though I like the app it needs an interval timer (and an online checker??) to be useful as it just gets annoying attempting to connect every few minutes or so.

It'd be great if it only checked NEW messages. It loads every message on the server. Don't any of you POP users leave messages on the server? I use an IMAP/POP account so my Inbox at home is sync'd with my inbox on the server. So the docklet tells me I've got 78 new messages although I've read 76 of them. I guess I'll have to wait for the IMAP plugin

I like this docklet - even though I am only using it to check my college email account *now i don't have to load up a browser to check it much more convienent - esp the email previewer. only bad thing - i can configure AOL to work in outlook, but, can't get this docklet to check for new emails. hm i'll work on that one awesome job though.

@jay2k5: You can use it for almost any POP-account (except those who need SSL support - like GMAIL).
But there's an own objectdock plugin for Gmail accounts.

AND there is no need to ask if it is hard to set up. You'll find a great FAQ on the GMAIL-Site ... There's an explanation for almost every Mailclient.

Hello..

I like it... for the most part. I have two quesions that you might add with the next updated version.

one, include an animation for when it's checking mail. If this is already there, where?
two, can you have it not tell you how many e-mails you have in your box after it checks the first time, and actually display how many new e-mails you have from then on? It bugs me that it just tells me how many e-mails I have in my inbox and calls them all new. If this can't be done, I understand.

The speed at with it launches outlook is outstanding. When ever I click on it the link myself it takes it's dear time to open. Guess it doesn't like me that much.

Thank you.

Andreas V: Top Class Work! Well done...

The only issue im having is that when i configure it to play an animation on new mail arrival, my CPU use goes through the roof and similar to one of the above entries i have to kill the process...

Any ideas about this? Id really love to solve it as i have a beautiful animation of a fish that i want to use!

This zip file has the 'Backdoor.Trojan' virus in it.

I can't download from this site randomly...clicking download just brings me back to the preview page. If I manually type in download.aspx and click the .zip link, it just returns to the preview page. Any ideas why? It also won't let me login...I put in the correct user and pass but it doesn't login. Doesn't even say they're wrong.

When I unzipped this file, Norton detected and deleted a backdoor trojan.
