Ooooh just moved into a place and i dont wanna wire up to my pc and purchased wireless router ....Absolutely usefull .. thanks Judge ...much appreciated and appropriate right now

OK, so the access point name is shown when I hover the mouse over the icon, but the meter stays at 50 and does not update. I am most definitely using SysStats 2. Any ideas?

is it possible to set the shortcut to a different location? perhaps something such as network connections, rather than network places

right click on it, 'Configure meters...' and click on 'Shortcut...'

My signal strength is always high, but it only shows around 50 on the meter most of the time. It's like it shows half of what it should.

I love this docklet, but has anyone else had a problem after installing XP SP2? Mine used to work fine but now it just sits at zero. Has anyone found a fix for this?

I have SP2 but installed it after the upgrade have no problems at with having it work BUT it shows half of the strength, means 40 instead of 100, weirld, any coments ?

Hmm, I am using SP2 but the docklet shows 0 and not connection. Although in the systray the icon shows my connection!

Easy as pie. Go into your objectdock folder (mine is: C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock), then into your Docklets\Systats\scripts (now we're in C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Docklets\Systats\scripts)
Right click on WiFiStrength.vbs, click edit. Replace the line
newValue = objMSN80211RSS.Ndis80211ReceivedSignalStrength + 100
with
newValue = 2 * (objMSN80211RSS.Ndis80211ReceivedSignalStrength + 100)
Now you'll get it out of 100 instead of fifty.

Why when I'm not connected the strenght is 900?
When the signal strength is high, the meter shows only around 55 like another user has written above; but if I put my notebook over the router the meter shows around 90 so I think the docklet is OK.
When I click on the icon, it is possible to show the wireless connections window?
