Works Flawlessly. Not as buggy as the Winamp Pimplet (Which just sucks)

Question: Whats with the clock? and theres no way to set it to my timezone, so its showing 12am when its only 10pm

Thinking about it the only think that i can think of that might be thought of as a clock is the time left display on the extreme right of the title which shows (or should ) the time remaining of the current song/title or the time played if it's streaming media such as shoutcast.
Oh and thank you very much for the positeve feedback

Agreed, this iteration is much more stable than the "Pimplet" (Which was ok on win2k, but not on XP)

There is one thing I really miss from the "WinAMP Pimplet" - Left mouse click would Pause/Play the WinAMP.

I didn't do that for the mouse scroll actions... maybe I'll include it as an option.... or maybe shift+click to play/pause? Suggestions (I personally prefer the scrolling to the play/pausing so it's either both or only scroll )

Not sure what you mean by "scrolling" You are probably talking 'bout right-click-and-choose?

What I ment was a toggle between play/pause when you click on the icon of your docklet.

If it's too hard to implement, never mind. You prog is "Good enough"(c)

By scrolling I mean that right now you can click on the docklet and then scroll through the songs with the mouse wheel (read the "Description" section of the "readme") in this latest version I added an option to play/pause with middle button click and activate the docklet with left mouse button click as per usual, or activate with middle button click and play/pause toggle with left click. Just look for it under "Settings" check or uncheck the checkbox until you get the desired result

This is a great little docklet for interfacing with Winamp. I've been using it for a while and it has been stable (Win XP Pro). A+++

Finally a docklet that really WORKS with winamp (winamp pimplet didnt for me) !

Missing three things very bad:

1. I have to start winamp by myself before i can start using the docklet (so i have another winamp icon in object dock) - show winamp only works if it is already in memory. double clicking should START winamp.

2. "show winamp" should hide winamp when it is already on desktop

3. access to the playlist via right-click menu.

if these three thins were implemented it would be the plugin i always needed!

Uups, forgot somethin: It should be possible to open/add files to winamp via right-click menu without opening winamp.

Travel: Winamp should start when you dblclick the docklet, it looks in the registry for "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Winamp" which should contain the location of winamp.exe and it then runs that (so if that regkey is missing pls check your winamp installation if that doesn't help lemme know your winamp version, oh and if you've renamed winamp.exe then it wont work either). Oh and thank you for the feedback, I'm having some problems with opening items in winamp, I might get adding working tho, and I'll look into having axs to the playlist and hiding winamp if it's showing (that atleast shouldn't be a problem), the problem with the other stuff is that IMHO the winamp "SDK" sux and is painful to work with, almost everything needs workarounds. Ah, and I'm having trouble figuring out what the hell the Object dock passes in the ondrop event of it's SDK... it's not an HDROP as far as I can tell if anyone has any useful info on that pls lemme know, and I might get d&d in this.

Hi there.
My Winamp is has its entry in my registry right there.

My Installation Folder is C:\Programme\Winamp

I didnt rename the .exe

My Winamp Version is 2.91c (the best ever released)

I realized, the docklet does "something" when doubleclicking it. The status is switching to the "stop" symbol for a part of a second than jumps back.
No Winamp instance opens.

I would be glad if u could help me with that.

Anyone experiencing similar?

My experience is as follows. On double click I get the WinAmp (5.03 Pro) to open all of its windows but the one with the controls. A second double click brings out the missing windows. Very annoying, but I cannot write my own stuff. Clicking with a middle wheel does nothing. Left click works as toggle betweed play/pause just fine.

Looking forward to some answers by peers

By the way, I changed my icon and made the Play/Stop/Pause?NoAmp buttons colored, and looking like a shiny plastic, moved them to the right side. (They were just on the bottom tip of the WInAMp flash of my new icon). I know it is a butcher job, but it was my first time
