Oh... for those having troubles... i find that on the odd install, it does not configure itself correctly. To rectify this: right-click the icon (likely a SysStats question mark), choose "Configure Meters". On the left-side, make sure ASyncScriptMeter Class is in the dropdown box. If there is no meter listed beside it, choose "add" and configure to add the "itunes.vbs" file, likely in the "scripts" folder.

Thank you!!!

iTunes was working, but now it no longer does. i get the iPod picture in the dock, but it no longer shows the album art.i did install sysstats 2.5.2, so i don't know if that might have something to do with it...

Hey All....Does anyone know how to set this up to where the album art will stretch to fit its space? Some pics I use are smaller and the background icon is not covered. Judge, any ideas??

awesome docklet.

Great docklet, just a quick question: is there any way to make the label display "artist - title" instead of "album - title"? as i often dont recognize the artist from the song or the album cover (especially if it hasnt got one ). Thanks.

Never mind, solved my problem. However i also have the thing that when i close itunes, it stays on the picture of the last album played, even after a restart... any way of changing it so it will display an ipod picture, or a different one of my choosing? thanks

Well, I edited the iTunes.vbs in notepad (hope you dont mind Judge, I love the docklet, just needed to customize it a bit), and changed where it said: [ SysStatsModel.Label.Format = oiTunes.CurrentTrack.Album & " - " & oiTunes.CurrentTrack.Name ] to [ SysStatsModel.Label.Format = oiTunes.CurrentTrack.Artist & " - " & oiTunes.CurrentTrack.Name ] (ie just change the "Album" to "Artist"). You might have to quit objectdock and reload for it to work, not quite sure.
Iv tried to get it to do the other stuff I wanted, but am not having many results, it seems like it should swich to the other icon (when itunes closes) as it is now. If anyone has any suggestions... .

Just downloaded iTunes 4.8, and it seems the artwork function no longer works?

Any chance of an update, this is the best docklet I have ? Thanks

This docklet has worked fine for me with all versions of iTunes up until the point I installed iTunes 6. Has anyone else had this problem, and more to the point, does anyone have a solution for it?

I've just installed the new release, 6.0.1 which is supposed to have a greater stability than 6.0.0. The docklet has started working again, so it was obviously iTunes 6.0.0 that caused the problem.

FYI When iTunes bumps its major version number (like from 4.6 to 5.0 or 5.0 to 6.0) it can cause SysStats to crash if you're using this config. The simple solution is to uninstall iTunes and then install the upgrade. Don't panic! It has no effect on any of your iTunes settings or your music library.

There will be a fix for the crash in SysStats shortly - but that won't make this config work - it will just stop the crash. For the config to work you will have to do the uninstall/reinstall of iTunes.

This is very nice, Judge. Thank you again for the effort. There's just one thing that kind of bugs...

I'd love it if there was something like a ctrl-click function for advancing one track. This would be dead perfect if it did that. But maybe I'm just wantsome.

Cheers!
