This one rocks!! This is the best Matrix screensaver I've ever seen...Even the one from Meticulous screensavers which I thought was the best, doesn't compare to this one! Keep up the great work!

Just my opinion of course, but really not a very good matrix screensaver at all. Maybe it just doesn't want to use modern day hardware or something like that. I've got an AMD 64X2 4600+ CPU, 4GB RAM, and two 8800GTS OC video cards and this screensaver runs like mollases in winter with a maximum of 5FPS.I also found that it stayed running in taskmanager (windows xp) even though it was not showing on my screen which seems very odd to me, had I not turned on the sound for the screensaver I don't think I would have known that it was still running even though it wasn't showing on my screen.
I had a matrix screensaver a couple years ago that was hot (or should I say hawt), but I've long since forgotten where it was from and it had an annoying advert screen about the program that made it.

The only way I could get it to work was allowing mouse movement in the options... other than that, no problems

Wow. I love the way it is not just some video. It's actual programing causing the effects. I like the way you can customize it so well from how many columns there are to the color. 
Jalida, I'm not sure why it is going so slow on a computer like yours, but try reducing the amount of numbers in the easy settings. I found the more columns it has the slower it goes.

im having a problem too it wont actually work i get sound but no picture ive tried reducing all the effects to no avail this looks great but im kinda disappointed i cant use it

Here's another one you can try... Matrix Code Emulator This one cost 4 bucks but is well worth it. Theres also a free version.

This one used to run like lightning on my old Win98SE machine, 'course, I also had 524MB RAM in it, and a dedicated 32MB (emulating 64MB) Video Card. In fact, I used as a visual spyware detector. When my machine would no longer run it at full speed in real time (meaning it'd stutter on me), I knew it was time to look for causal problems.
Worked great that way...
My work computer at my old job used to run this fine (but it had a GREAT video card, so go figure), but my computer at my new job won't touch it (onboard video I think).
I'm in the process of upgrading my computer (that now runs WinXP Pro) to a 256MB Video Card, and I'll see if that with the 524MB system RAM is enough to make this thing sing again...

Wow, I've been checking out all the various Matrix screen savers, and this one is by far the best! It has the smoothest text transitions and the most amazing set of options if you aren't happy with it. Great job, XsiM!!
