I also have the choppy problem... I see no replies on how to fix this.... I would love for it to work properly so if anyone has any ideas let me know... I am about to blame it on my video card, and no I don't know the specs, I just know that it could probably be updated...

So any help on how to fix the screensaver till I get a new card would be great...

Is there a chance you could add an option for changing the screen resolution? It runs slow and choppy on my laptop, but if I change my screen res to 640x480 or lower it goes super smooth. However I don't want to manually change my screen res when I run my screensaver.

Spinal: What kind of laptop do you have? If it has an intel graphic card, you might want to try to rename the screensaver from Flurry.scr to Flurry.sCr (Intel disables hardware acceleration for OpenGL screensavers, and using a different file extension sometimes works around their driver).

I might had resolution switching in the future, but there are other features (like the flurry editor and per-monitor flurries) higher on my list.

It seems that there is a bug in the version currently available if you are running it for the first time. The next version will have a fix for that (and should be available soon).

In the meantime, if you experience crashes when starting Flurry, you can fix it by creating a new key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ named "Flurry" (you can download a reg file here that will do it for you).

Note: Fixed in 1.3.1

Oh and if this answers the problem you all are speaking of...I dont know if this is wha you are talking about but Just go to run type in c:\windows\system32 and drag the .scr file into that folder and then when you go to change your screen saver it will automatically be in the list? Hope this helps? I may be mislead by what you guys were talking about.... anyways midaswell state again that this screen saver ROCKS MY WORLD!!! LOL

One of the best on any site! Back in January 2005, Flurry was one of the first screen savers I downloaded from WinCustomize (the screen saver gallery was fairly new also, if I remember correctly.) It was that screen saver that inspired me to make screen savers. 1.3.1 is even better! Thanks Littleboy! for an awesome update.
