Well, what can i say ... nice idea to make an updated suite, but what is a suite without the main element, i mean WB ??
As the updated Heavy Equipment WB5 is not yet on line, i think a HE 2007 suite as no reason (for now) to be and i'm a bit surprised it had been approved to be uploaded�

I know the WindowBlind has not been updated yet but it is still functional. Why would it not be approved? The file itself is not in the Suite, just a download link to grab the file when the Suite is run. I updated the Suite because it wasn't working right and new skins were being done and I wanted those to be included with the Suite. If and when the WindowBlinds gets updated, all I have to do is change the download link. When I make a Suite, it is nothing more than a ScreenShot and a .ini or .txt file loaded with download links unless otherwise noted.

its a nice suite any chance of making a matching start menu that would really complete your suite its just a suggestion i think everyone will agree with SPIDEY

I believe anyone is entitled to update the WindowBlind since it is a community project but I suggest seeking some sort of approval or moderation from the Admins before submitting it. It would also need to have the original ReadMe with it. If I had the artistic talent to update it, Then I would, but I don't. The Blind may never get updated. To say that it 'sucks' otherwise is not right.

Sure hope this "new" group effort doesn't fall thru the cracks. I've been hoping someone would have the time, talent, and inclination to bring those parts of the Suite up to present-day standards and abilities. I stopped using Hoverdesk and a lot of the other apps in HE a long time ago as I wasn't comfortable with the learning curve then and had absolutely no PC/graphic-arts/coding skills.
Would really like to see the WB spruced up and supercharged. Likewise the DX. I can run the bits and pieces, after a fashion, but the DX needs constant tweaking to run at 1280 X 1024, and, yes, the WB is a bit, erm, crumbly round the edges by today's standards and WB5 abilities.
The overhaul of this astounding classic is really close to being publishable. Close...

Yes, any updates to things, especially the old stuff...being redone by new people...they'll need to be all approved prior to public upload.
That goes for any/all sites, not just WC...

It is an old WindowBlind skin. Skinning for The Start Menu was not supported at the time. I have heard that someone is updating it. It might in time
