can't get it to work neither..!!
when i DL it there comes a pop-up where it says "would you like to apply the suite Iboni?"..when i click "yes"...it says "you must a skin to be downloaded"..!!
help please..!?

Skin look GREAT so far. I do have a few questions however. You mentioned that sysmetrix is the main component being used along the right side of the screen. s sysmetrix the entire right side, ot looks to be all together, but it also looks like there is ezpop in there and winamp (or some other proggie?) in there too. Also, the bottom right has a calendar...what app is that? And finally, if i might ask...where do i get the skins for these extra apps? Thanks so much for the information and a WONDERFUL looking skin.

The entire right side is the SysMetrix application (with the exeption of the calendar which is Rainlendar and you can get it here -> http://www.ipi.fi/~rainy/index.php?pn=projects&project=rainlendar)
The suite should apply all of the application skins, but if you have problems with it, you can download the skin separetely from the SysMetrix library. It includes both, the SysMetrix skin and the Rainlendar skin. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=28&SkinID=1322

I hate to be a total and utter pain in the a** but, how do i get it to look like that? when i apply the skin all i get is an analog clock...

Ok, the problem with the auto installation of the SysMetrix skin is that the zip file contains both the sysmetrix and the rainlendar, and that is causing the conflict.
Go to the SysMetrix Themes folder and open the Iboni folder. Export the Rainlendar folder to the Rainlendar skin folder and it should work fine.

Ok, i moved the rainy folder out of the themes folder (incidentally, the zip had two folders, one for rainy the other called ibonism, so it SHOULD have been loading correctly every time. Only problem is that not only wasnt it, but it still is not. I am still getting the analog clock, with what APPEARS to be the correct text over it, but i am not actually getting the background that should be there. I may have figured out part of why in trying to apply the rainy skin though. I have sysmetrix in a folder that is not the default. this fould up rainy as it was looking for hard coded paths to all its bits. I couldnt find anything like this in the sysmetrix ini, but i may have missed it. If you would be willing to take pity on a poor soul, would you be willing to contact me privately? Can someone tell me how to install it, I try to add it to the theme manager but I don't see any file ending in .suite.

Try deleting the old file and download again. Let me know if it works.
