seems to be a funny quirk with the colorpack skins. they don't load right at startup - i only get a circle. the original doesn't do that. if i reload the original and then load the new color everything is fine until I reboot again. I tried to figure out what was causing it but haven't been able to thus far. it does this on XPproSP2 and XPhomeSP2. please help.

Thanks for the comment Danillo

I've been getting a lot of emails regarding this type of problems, all from users with SP2. It might be a problem with SP2. (I'm still using SP1)

jaidaksghost - and everyone who might have a similar trouble (don't know about SP2, but at least with SP1 and i'm pretty sure the reason is the same) in the three A_67 "color" folders, just delete the file "Thumbs.db" and eveything's is becoming OK

I'm using SP1 and I'm having the problem. I was using a vertical sysmetrix then loaded this one and it didn't resize the vert so I rebooted sysmetrix - it then loaded in a circle, nothing more. So I don't think its SP2, its the theme.

I figured out the problem! (Using Green theme) - there's a filename named A_67.bmp - change it to A_67 Green.bmp and voila - works now. Hope this helps out everybody and Apocalypse himself.

Damn window trunuated the filename - to repeat - it should be "A_67 Green.bmp" with a space.

Btw, if you haven't figured it out - sub Red/Blue for the other themes in place of Green. Sorry for the multiposts. I keep thinking of stuff to add.

Oh yeah, one more thing (I promise, last post) - forgot to give Apocalypse his props! Great job as usual bro - only problem I have is the discrimination against deaf people by including the music player and not offering a diff one without it.

Indeed the file name was incomplete. When duplicating a file in SysMetrix the program automatically renames it on the path but not on the folder itself. The problem has since been fixed and the new zip file has been uploaded. Thanks.
In regards to the 'discrimination' claim, users need to understand that most authors (my self included) create these skins for ourselves and we opt to share them here. I make most of the SysMetrix skins with a media player control for the simple fact that I use it. When I make a skin I dont look into what the users want/need I make then based on what I want/need. Its different when an author creates a skin for commercial purpose where the public's need is a priority.

That makes sense. I didn't think of it that way.
