I like it, only information isn't sent in binary. It is sent in hexadecimal packets. When it reaches the remote computer, it is then converted to machine code, then converted further into binary code.

i hate to differ, but ethernet uses electrical signalling over copper (or light pulses over fibre if yer rich) ... so it MUST transmit binary ..

on and off are the only options ..

btw, nice wall ... imho would be better with semi-transparent text or a no text version

tk421, everything is sent in binary, but binary is base-2 (1's/positive and 0's/negative)

Those base-2 signals make up something bigger that which makes up something bigger that is base-16 (hexadecimal code) yes it is binary, but it when the computer recieves it, it does analyze each binary number (8 characters long). it is too inefficient...it analyzes the hex packets and then disassembles the information.. what i am saying is it sends information in chunks to be more efficient. the size of the chunks and interval at which they are sent depends on your internet connection. like the old 300 baud modems sent very small chunks and lazy speeds, while 56k baud modems send bigger chunks of hex (which does come down to binary) at faster intervals.. so the information that is sent could be hex..but it is broken down to binary when the remote computer you are sending it to, recieves it. it is more effient...ok enough with my babbling
