In reality the design is not based on the zodiac sign. I got the idea of the scorpion after I watched the movie The Scorpion King

y dont u have any other different animals or creatures besides the typical dragon/pheonix? hmmm lets see, it ould b nice to c a tribal spider or rabbit btw. great job i luv it. would b nice to c it in red or black.

The Tribal Series started with a tattoo design (Tribal Dragon) which I was going to get done but it was then turned into a wallpaper.
There was not going to be any other designs until I saw the movie The Scorpion King and added a second design. The tribal Phoenix was done after I saw the Movie X-Man 2 where Jean Gray dies. I recalled the comic books where she returns as The Phoenix. This last design ( The Lion ) ....well, Im a Leo.
