Great job! I like it but the river looks a bit like tomato soup to me. I would like to see some heat effects maybe, or possibly some variation in color to give the appearance of lava. Regardless, it looks great. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. Only one criticism. You might want to make the lines betweens the layers of sedimentary rock a little less perfectly straight.

one thing everyone has forgotten to mention, is that the water - or watever it is - does not conform to the rock. it looks like it is in cubes. you can see along the sides of the rock, further down the canyon, that there are small black triangles visible. if you could get rid of these your image would b flawless. great job tho i love it.
