The sunflower itself looks either stretched or of too low quality, you can see articfacting in it. And it looks like you've done this all in one layer and painted the background around the flower. Try isolating the flower on one layer, and and painting the backgound on a layer underneath it. You'll have more freedom that way, especially on things like your clouds, which seem confined by the edged of your flower.

Thank you DesignCaddy and horisOn, for your comments!

Yes this is all on one layer, I haven't figured out how to make the different layers. I am not sure what the artifacting is that you see??? I am sure it would have been much faster and easier to layer, instead "coloring in" all the real background! I really appreciate your helfulness horizOn! thank you

Artifacting come's from compression, the higher the compression the more you'll have. I'd like to help you more but I don't use corel or twisted brush, sorry. By the way, is it a digital camera you are using?

Yes I use a digital camera, a Sony Mavica 1.3. , it is a long way from my first camera, A Kodak "box" camera! LOL And I just love using it! I'm not sure where the compression came in, except for zipping and uploading. Thank you again for your help.

Can't help you there, other than reccomending looking at your camera settings, but you sound like you know what you're doing with that...could just be your final output settings after you were done.
