Beautiful wallpaper. It's just horrible knowing that the cure will never be revealed due to the billions in money made for treatment.

Well, there are 2 options in a 'cure' right now... one is a kidney-pancreas transplant which typically does not go well but has worked for a few even though they generally have to stay on immunosuppressive drugs. The other is support for Stem-Cell research which has proved promising. Other then that you are correct, the medical 'industry' is making a killing on this as well as pretty much everything else you can think of sadly.

I tend to agree, the "Pharmaceutical" industry stands to loose billions if a cure is found. I don't lump the "Medical" industry in with the drug companies however. Most medical professionals would love to see a cure and many "Medical" researchers are working towards that goal. Once the goal is achieved I'm sure a pharmaceutical company will buy the rights and shelve the cure.
