Beautiful image but the rating shouldn't matter should it? Besides as you can see people are able to improve the rating regardless of what it was initially given. I like it

EventHorizon, The rating system is screwy anyway as adni18 has pointed out...any goof-off can select a "1 - Poor" rating - if it was THAT bad it wouldn't get by the Mods...stick to Green_Armani's comments - he's right! Thanks again!

how in the hell do people make scenery look this good?

Thx queezendorf ...It was made with Terragen and I added the lens flare with the GIMP. Both Terragen and The GIMP are free software. And, as it says below, It took about 1 1/2 hours to set up and another 45min to render.

Pity about the lens-flare...it's an affectation intended to imitate a camera view...a flare effect the naked eye does not see.
It should be on everyone's 'do not use' list....

I approved it in spite of the flare, but its use distances the viewer from the scene. Instead of looking at a view you are looking at a flared photograph of a view.
